The Queens Hotel, York

The hotel was newly built and opened in the Millennium and is situated on the banks of the river Ouse. The recently refurbished hotel is right at the heart of the vibrant City of York.

The station and all the many tourist attractions are only a few minutes walk. The Queens Hotel York England is one of the most central hotels in York, with quality hotel accommodation at affordable prices.

Restaurants and Bars
The Royal brasserie restaurant serves a 3-course table d'hôte menu daily.

Although some of the rates are on a room only basis, our restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 07:30 until 09:30 Monday to Friday, and 10:30 at weekends; you are more than welcome to join us for breakfast.

Dinner is also available from 18:00 until 21:00 every day except 6 January 2008 when there will be no evening service.

There are restricted menus and table reservations during Christmas and New Year, please contact the hotel for details.

Directions
From the North:
from the a1 to the a59 to the City Centre, pass through City Walls, through the first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right onto Skeldergate.

Or, from the a19 across the outer ring road (a1237) into York, passing the Theatre Royal. Turn right at the traffic lights, over the bridge to the next set of lights.

Turn left into George Hudson Street. Turn left at the next lights and first right to Skeldergate.

From the South:
M1 to A1(M), to A64 to A1036 slip road to City Centre. Pass through City Walls, through first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right on to Skeldergate.

From the East:
A1079 to City Centre to Walmgate. Turn left and continue past the Barbican Centre. Stay on the right and follow one-way system, keeping to the middle lane to the roundabout. Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing Clifford's Tower on the right, follow the road over the bridge to the traffic lights and turn left in to Skeldergate.
